It’s been ages since I last posted and some updates are needed. I will not be returning to Rome come september…infact I’ll be in the UK…studying creative writing. The name of this blog ‘aromainroma’ no longer makes sense…I wonder if I can change that. I visited Rome for my birthday..was great! I don’t remember a thing! Claudia Chow is coming in 2 weeks and then i am back to Rome. Exciting.

Months ago- though now that I’m home, a family photo should be up. Mum is not in this one…we have no full family photos because somebody always has to take the picture.
So the way this theme is set up makes my poems below look like small paragraphs. Annoying and strange. I leave tomorrow and won’t be back in Roma for a semester. It’s bittersweet, though I feel like that’s the wrong word. You get the jist.

I found out the homeless backpacker types with dogs are called “punk e beastia,” ie. punk with beast. And they are paid by the state to keep them… Also the roses sold by pakistani men who harass you whilst you eat are taken from graves…classy!
